Spring!
September Activities
September has been a busy month for us. While Mrs. Bobo was in West Virginia caring for her mother, we studied outer space. We had a lot of fun creating pictures with planets and astronauts. We especially enjoyed finding moon rocks in our yard! We saved all of our artwork so Mrs. Bobo could see it. She was very happy and proud of us!
Earth Week was great! We colored pledge cards that promised to take care of the earth. We painted the earth on coffee filters and glued it to a print of Jesus ("He's Got the whole World in His Hands.") Mrs. Bobo read books about reducing, reusing, and recycling. We made collages using fabric scraps. We made paper litter bags for our cars. Together we made dirt dessert and topped it with gummy worms-"yummy!"

April activities have been fun! Our units on zoo animals and Our Earth were full of activities! We made safari backpacks to use when hunting animals. We made "marbleized" zebras and spotted big cats using paint and paper. We made monkey faces.
For Earth Week we made pledge cards promising to help take care of our earth and animals. We made earth day visors. Ask us what we know about pollution and the Three 'R's. We made litter bags for our cars. We used recyclable items from home to make new things! What a busy and fun week!
Spring Activities
The days since Spring Break have been busy! The following are pictures of what we've been doing. We are seeing a lot of progress in the children. Fine motor skills are improved. All the children are responding to language games. They love rhymes! We have enjoyed creating with crayons, paint, and other art materials. Most of us can hold a writing implement correctly. Although we have had numerous rainy days, we have been able to enjoy nature; especially the birds building nests and the ants building colonies.
