This week we talked about ways we use to go places. We also talked about ways to transport things from one place to another, or to help us in our work. Monday we made 18 wheelers and told Mrs. Bobo what we were carrying in our trucks. We also talked about how to be safe in our cars. We watched a DVD about machines at work. We saw peanut farmers, potato farmers, and apple farmers harvest their crops. They all used different machines for each crop. We followed the peanuts until they were made into peanut butter; the potatoes until they became potato chips, and the apples until apple cider was made. It was really cool!
Our Bible truth was "Go tell others about Jesus." We did just that by singing to parents at A Taste of PDS! We sang about Jesus' love for us. We loved shaking our "Egg shakers" and we kept the beat! Mrs. Jackson was really proud of us!
Today we today we made our own license plates and turtle puppets. We made a list of words that begin with "T". We put together little gliders and tried to sail them through a hoola hoop. We read about what it is like to fly on a plane. We will take a pretend trip on an airplane Friday after chapel. Our passports will tell you where we went! Even imaginary trips can be fun!
